ENDURO SEMINAR IN SOFIA
Op 23 en 24 januari vond er in Sofia, de hoofdstad van Bulgarije, een enduro seminar plaats onder leiding van UEM enduro man Marco Bolzonello. Vertegenwoordigers van de bonden van Roemenië en Macedonië waren ook aanwezig. Doel: promoten van de sport in meerdere Europese landen. Voor het EK kunnen we dus in de toekomst nog wat meer kilometers gaan maken.
An Enduro seminar, organised by UEM in collaboration with the Bulgarian Motorcycle Federation (BMF), was held on the 23rd and 24th of January 2010 in Sofia with the participation of organisers and clerks of course from Macedonia, Romania and Bulgaria.
The seminar, directed by the Enduro Commission Chairman, Mr Marco Bolzonello, is another step towards the UEM policy to further promote the motorcycling sport in the different geographical European areas through the preparation of qualified technical staff and the agonistic preparation of riders.
Welcome guest of the seminar was the many times World Champion, Mr Franco Gualdi, who shared with the large audience his experiences as a rider, as a trainer and as a sport manager.
The seminar was preceded by the award ceremony of the Bulgarian riders that affirmed themselves internationally in 2009. To the ceremony participated also the Bulgarian Prime Minister, Mr Boyko Borissov, the Bulgarian Sport Minister, Mr Svilen Meykov, the President of the Grand Prix Committee, Mr Rumen Petkov, and the UEM President, Mr Vincenzo Mazzi.
