Andrea Verona is the fastest on day 1 in San Marino

The first day of the second appointment with the 24mx Enduro European Championship took place in an enchanting setting formed by breathtaking views and a blue sky. Today, Saturday 15 June, San Marino hosted the continental Enduro for round 2# of the 2024 season. The San Marino federation and the Titano motoclub have prepared three special tests for this second act; the race was structured as follows: after ten minutes from the start there was the Cross Test, located on a beautiful counter-sloping field, followed by the TC. Once the assistance was concluded riders went to the Enduro Test, designed in the undergrowth while the lap was closed by the Extreme Test, traced on a stream with technical and spectacular passages that put the skills of our pilots. Pilots who showed up in large numbers in San Marino and who did not want to miss the chance to be part of this beautiful event.

24mx MiniEnduro European Cup: the season got underway in Italy

The Mini Enduro Cup season kicked off in great style in Aviano, Italy, with two intense days of fighting. In mixed weather conditions the weekend started with a parade from the paddock to the main square of the town, escorted by the reigning European Champion Maurizio Micheluz. Nation by nation riders took to the stage, thus giving the official start to the event. The route: four laps each day with one Enduro Test of about six minutes and one Cross Test.

Day 1
Italian rider Gioele Scibilia (Beta) won the Overall by just 10 seconds over French rider Emerick Vergote (Beta) at the end of a thrilling day. P3 for another Frenchman, Ewen Forestier-Chiron (GasGas). The three riders were also on the podium of the 125 Mini class.

Double victory for Andrea Verona in Castiglion Fiorentino

Overall victory again today for Andrea Verona on the second day of the first round of the 24mx European Enduro Championship. The world champion rider also left the competitors behind him on day 2, taking first place in the overall standings of the day, but this time, unlike yesterday, with a gap of just 25 seconds on Samuele Bernardini. The two Italian riders battled throughout the day, giving the large crowd a great spectacle.

The second day of the 24mx Enduro European Championship started at 8.30 this morning, Sunday 24 March, from Castiglion Fiorentino under a cloudy sky that promised rain, rain which fortunately did not arrive, instead leaving room for a warm sun.

Uitslagen: Day1 scratch / day1 classes/  day2 scratch / day2-classes
Hard werken op een pittige route met een krap tijdschema en ook nog drie mooie “buitenlandse” proeven. De kop is eraf voor zes Nederlanders met mooie resultaten richting de zesdaagse selectie. En Nina Klink is het ook nog niet verleerd met een 6e en een 5e plaats in een veld van 10 dames.

Eerste EK 2024 in Castiglion Fiorentino (Italië) komt er aan!
Waar? Plaats van handeling is Castiglion Fiorentino, in de regio Toscane. Een stadje met zo’n 12.000 inwoners, op 70 km ten zuidoosten van Florence (Firenze). Reken maar op 1400 kilometer. Daar werd in 2009 al eens de EK finale gereden en Mark Wassink won dat weekend zijn klasse. Daarmee legde hij knap beslag op de zilveren medaille in de eindstand van dat jaar.

Andrea Verona wins on the first day of 24mx Enduro European Championship

The first day of the 24mx Enduro European Championship saw 186 riders from 15 European nations at the start. This first round, organized by the Castiglion Fiorentino Fabrizio Meoni motoclub, officially opened yesterday, Friday 22 March, with the official presentation of the participating riders. The parade, which started from the paddock, traveled through the streets of Castiglion Fiorentino, the host city, up to the town square where the mayor and many lover were waiting for the European Enduro family. Once the ceremony was over, everyone rested in view of the first day of competition which began under a beautiful spring sun.
