As per previous editions ISDE competitors will again be able to take advantage of an extensive range of racing and rental services provided by the major manufacturers at this year’s event at Le Puy-en-Velay, France from Monday 29 August to Saturday 3 September.

EUROPEAN ENDURO: Road to 24MX Round 3#

After the end of the first two Rounds, the Borilli Enduro European Championship 2022 has reached its half so, before focussing on the 24MX Round #3, that will take place in Finland in Sipoo, let’s retrace what happened during the first two rounds.

The Italian city of Pietramontecorvino gave the start to 2022 racing season and, despite the bad weather conditions during the days before the event everything went well; two special tests with a high technical rate challenged the more than 120 drivers registered for the event. The Eleveit Enduro Test with its deep channels and the sliding ground and the fast Airoh Cross Test defined the provisional championship rankings by highlighting the protagonists’ names of season 2022. Belgian Erik Willems imposed himself on everyone by taking home a double overall victory that crowned him Championship Leader.

MIRJAM POL WINT BAJA OESTE PORTUGAL 2022

De laatste wedstrijddag van de Baja Oeste Portugal 2022 verliep prima voor Mirjam Pol prima, ondanks dat ze eenmaal verkeerd reed doordat een deelnemer voor haar door het afzetlint reed, waardoor de route niet meer zichtbaar was. “Tja, dan is het moeilijk om te bepalen of je links, rechts of rechtdoor moet. Er stond verder niets aangegeven, dus reed ik rechtdoor en dat was nou net niet de bedoeling. Dan verlies je al snel een dikke minuut ondanks dat ik vrij snel in de gaten had dat ik fout zat”, laat Pol weten na de finish.

Josep Garcia claims home win on day two of ACERBIS GP of Spain

Josep Garcia (KTM) gave his Spanish fans plenty to cheer about on day two of the 2022 WPTGlobal FIM EnduroGP World Championship opener in Lalin, Spain, as the KTM Factory Racing star battled his way to the top step of the EnduroGP podium in impressive style.
Day one winner Andrea Verona (GASGAS) continued to prove himself to be a serious contender for the 2022 EnduroGP title by backing up his day one victory with a runner-up finish to Garcia. Defending EnduroGP champion Brad Freeman (Beta) regrouped impressively following a disappointing performance on the opening day to complete the overall top three.

WK Spanje zondag: finishen onder de zon

Kaiya Brouwer stuurde de GasGas vandaag in Spanje naar de 12e plaats in de J2 en 25e in de Junior scratch. Ruim 6 minuten achter de klasse winnaar. Toch een beetje geleden gisteren? Maar de eerste zit er op! Over een weekje in Portugal weer aan de bak.
WPM rijdster Vilde Holt had gisteren de lijntjes goed bekeken en ze stuurde naar een fraaie 4e plaats. Minder dan 2 seconden voor de Engelse Rowett terwijl Jane Daniels weer ruim won. En nog maar 10 seconden van het podium zoals ze zelf op FB schreef.
De hoofdprijs in de EnduroGP ging naar Josep Garcia (E2) voor Andrea Verona (E1) en Brad Freeman (E3). Gisteren krreg Freeman nog 1;20 aan de broek; vandaag was Holcombe aan de beurt met 2:25 achterstand op Garcia. Goeie en slechte dagen komen overal voor en het seizoen is nog jong.
