Ook op deze tweede zware dag met vier proeven per ronde won Wil Ruprecht (E2) voor Josep Garcia (E2) en Andrea Verona (E1). Snelste E3 rijder was Davide Guarneri op P8.
Bij de junioren won Zachary Pichon (J1) voor Luc Fargier (E2). Kaiya Brouwer werd 10e in de J2 en 23e scratch. Bij de dames won Jane Daniels; Vilde Holt werd 10e. Dat had 6e kunnen zijn maar ergens in het begin liep ze 12 strafminuten op door een technisch probleem.
Wil Ruprecht Claims EnduroGP Victory On Day One Of GP Of Portugal
Australian Wil Ruprecht (TM) has raced to overall victory on day one of the WPTGlobal FIM EnduroGP World Championship’s GP of Portugal. The TM rider put together a sensational day’s racing, coming into his own during the super challenging and all-important third and final lap of the day in Peso da Regua. In topping the results, he claimed his first overall EnduroGP class victory of the season.

WK Portugal zaterdag: Wil Ruprecht wint
Na ruim een uur proeftijd won Ruprecht(E2) met amper 4 seconden voor Josep Garcia(E2) en 45 seconden voor Andre Verona(E1). Brad Freeman was de snelste E3 rijder op 5 in de scratch en die gaf al bijna 2 minuten toe op Ruprecht.
Antoine Magain werd 11e in de EnduroGP scratch en hij houdt zijn abonnement op de 4e plaats in de E1 nog even vast. Kaiya Bouwer werd opnieuw 11e in de J2 en 24e in de Junior scratch. Vilde Holt werd 7e in het damesklassement. De dames moesten elkaar 
regelmatig omhoog helpen.

EUROPEAN ENDURO: Road to 24MX Round 3#
After the end of the first two Rounds, the Borilli Enduro European Championship 2022 has reached its half so, before focussing on the 24MX Round #3, that will take place in Finland in Sipoo, let’s retrace what happened during the first two rounds.
The Italian city of Pietramontecorvino gave the start to 2022 racing season and, despite the bad weather conditions during the days before the event everything went well; two special tests with a high technical rate challenged the more than 120 drivers registered for the event. The Eleveit Enduro Test with its deep channels and the sliding ground and the fast Airoh Cross Test defined the provisional championship rankings by highlighting the protagonists’ names of season 2022. Belgian Erik Willems imposed himself on everyone by taking home a double overall victory that crowned him Championship Leader.
