Argentina confirms dates for 2023 FIM ISDE

Great Britain crossed the finish line in Le Puy-En-Velay as the FIM ISDE World Champions © Future7MediaFollowing on from the initial announcement at the close of this year’s event, the FIM and the local organiser are pleased to confirm dates for the 2023 FIM International Six Days of Enduro (ISDE), which will take place from Monday 6th November through to Saturday 11th November at San Juan, Argentina.

The ninety seventh edition of this historic off-road competition will be based out of the brand-new Circuito San Juan Villicum, which is more normally known for hosting the FIM Superbike World Championship and other national circuit racing events. San Juan is in the western part of Argentina and is part of the Cuyo region. The surrounding terrain is mostly covered by mountains and green valleys, ideal for enduro and thanks to its sunny climate it is also perfect for good wine production too.

Borilli Enduro European Champions 2022 awarded to the European Parliament

The last away of the Borilli Enduro European Championship 2022 ended with two beautiful days in Brussels at the headquarters of the European Parliament. In response to the invitation from Hon. Berlato, the 2022 European champions reached the Belgian capital for two days in the name of sport and friendship.
The trip opened with the Gala evening inside a characteristic restaurant located in the centre of Brussels. The 2022 European Champions Manuel Verzeroli, Carlo Minot, Lorenzo Bernini, Maurizio Micheluz, Erik Willems, Dietger Damiaens, Nieve Holmes, Alessandro Rizza, Luca Piersigilli and Diligenti Racing

MX Rookies nipt naast podium

Afgelopen zondag 4 december stond er een 4-uurs Enduro / Cross wedstrijd in het Duitse Grevenbroich op het programma. Dit is een wedstrijd met twee rijders in een team die van start gaat met een Le Mans start, waarbij aansluitend de twee rijders afwisselend de vier uren vol rijden.

MX Rookies Jeremy en Damien Knuiman vormden samen een team en mochten na loting startplaats 46 van de 55 teams innemen. Jeremy nam de start op zich en vertrok als een speer. Na de eerste ronde van circa 7 minuten, kwam hij als vijfde rijder door. De eerste 30 minuten van deze wedstrijd sloot hij keurig aan bij de top 3. Na ca. 30-35 minuten was het de beurt voor Damien die na een supersnelle transponder wissel deze aansluiting kon behouden.

Mirjam Pol WINT OVERTUIGEND WOMEN FIM BAJAS WORLD CUP 2022

“Moe maar voldaan, noem je dat toch? Vandaag heb ik foutloos gereden!”, aldus een hele blije Mirjam Pol vanuit Dubai. “Ik heb echt genoten van de dag van vandaag. Ik was snel, alert en heerlijk in mijn element in de zandduinen. Ik ben oprecht blij met deze wereldtitel. Het was een pittig jaar maar uiteindelijk kijk ik met erg veel genoegdoening terug op alle wedstrijden.”
Dat is een understatement. Zeker als je bedenkt dat de Nederlandse met een te klein budget maar wel met een enorm veel doorzettingsvermogen uiteindelijk alle wedstrijden wist te winnen waar ze aan deelnam.
