EnduroGP: Steve Holcombe shines bright for season opener

Germany has once again proven its passion for Enduro which a huge number of spectators turning out to watch the day’s special tests. The loop-style lap consisted of 2 Champion Lubricants Enduro Tests, one Techomousse Extreme Test, and an Akrapovic Cross Test.
With 3 laps for all the EnduroGP riders, and 2 laps for the newly created Champion Lubricants Enduro Open categories.

In EnduroGP, Steve HOLCOMBE (GBR-Beta) has started exactly were he left off. The quadruple World Champion slotted himself quickly

EnduroGP: Exciting Start to the Champion Lubricants Enduro Open World Cup!

openclass-luis-oliveiraThis is the big moment for the brand-new Champion Lubricants Enduro Open World Cup which has been created during the offseason and aims to encourage new riders and privateer teams into the Maxxis FIM Enduro World Championship. This weekend in Dahlen, Germany, the three categories that make up this World Cup will be officially launched. So it’s time for us to take a look at the main contenders…

Starting with the Open 2-Stroke category which sees 19 entrants. Here there are many experienced riders such as Portugal’s Gonçalo REIS (Gas Gas), Germany’s Nico RAMBOW (KTM)

De Zesdaagse voorbereidingen bezien door Wilco Bruijn

Hier even een bericht mbt de voorbereidingen voor de zesdaagse in Portugal.
In een vorig bericht schreef ik :
De verwachting is dat er volgend jaar een grote groep rijders afreist naar Portugal.
Inmiddels hebben 39 ISDE rijders en 4 Vintage rijders zich aangemeld, dit is inmiddels ook doorgegeven aan de organisatie in Portugal. De KNMV heeft onder voorbehoud ook een Trophy Team en een Junior Trophy Team aangemeld. Persoonlijk ben ik erg druk geweest om ook een Women Tropy Team ingeschreven te krijgen maar dat is helaas niet gelukt.
De KNMV heeft samen met bondscoach Henk Boersma enkele rijders geselecteerd en deze groep heeft afgelopen zondag

EnduroGP Dahlen: A New Era Begins !

Steve Holcombe (GB - Beta) Copyright: Future7MediaNearly five months after the crowning of the overall champion, Steve HOLCOMBE (GB – Beta), the 2019 EnduroGP season will start where the previous year finished; in Germany! The 162 entrants will tackle one of the country’s oldest races, the “Rund Um Dahlen”!

A Historic Race
The MSC Dahlen eV im ADAC run by Lars SCHOLZ, supported by the DMSB, made it a point of honour to organize an international level race in less than five months. The EnduroGP opener coincide with the 60th edition of the “Rund Um Dahlen”, one of the oldest races in Germany. It is therefore a serious and experienced Moto Club that will put on this challenging and spectacular show. MSC Dahlen have created an 85-kilometre long course

Natte maar geslaagde enduro-selectie training in Zelhem

2019-Zelhem-selectie-trainingMeer foto’s. Video. Met dank aan de ZAMC werden op het WK-trial terrein de nodige basis vaardigheden aangeleerd en/of aangescherpt. Zeven jonkies op trialfietsen hadden de rug al nat voordat de eerste bui viel. Dit alles onder de stimulerende leiding van Alex van den Broek en Stephan Braakhekke en aanvoerder van het begeleidingsteam Henk Boersma. In de lunchpauze nog even bijles bandje klappen. Dit keer nog met een oude band maar volgende keer …  Komt helemaal goed zo en de slotvraag was: “Wanneer gaan we weer?”
P.S. WK trial 22-23 juni: komt allen naar Zelhem!
