De motor werd in één keer goed gekeurd en staat weer helemaal fris in het parc ferme omdat er geen proloog is op vrijdagavond. Uiteraard zijn de gewijzigde proeven uitgebreid verkend. En ‘Team Nederland’ heeft voor tweede keer een Covid test gehad en iedereen negatief, dus nu wachten op start van morgen.

WK enduro Portugal: op naar het 2e weekend met Max Schwarte
Even een update uit een soms zonnig maar wel droog Portugal.
Max heeft een ontspannende week tot nog toe. Maandag de Sherco weer klaargemaakt;
dinsdag met ons lekker rondgereden gisteren en vandaag weer proeven lopen.
De mogelijkheid was er om mee te doen aan de open klasse. Dan rij je een rondje minder en enkele zware stukken hoef je dan niet te rijden. Dat leek mij wel wat, maar Max wil gewoon meedoen met de “echte mannen” en dat toont zijn karakter ook wel weer.
Voeding hebben we ons ook nog in verdiept, niet echt ons ding maar zeker zo belangrijk.
Hij lust ook nog niet alles merk ik wel. Hopelijk hebben we een goede balans gevonden.
Morgen keuring en motor inleveren en dan gaat het zaterdag weer gebeuren!
Hopen dat het droog blijft.

EnduroGP: For The Last Time!
This weekend, the FIM Borilli EnduroGP World Championship season will end with a second GP in two weeks in Marco de Canaveses, Portugal! With all the titles yet to be awarded, the weekend promises to be thriling!
The Same, Yet Different…
So it’s once again Marco de Canaveses and the Motor Clube Marco that will host the best Enduro riders in the world this weekend for the last event of the year. The riders will have a slightly “watered-down” route compared with the tough one last weekend and the special tests will be run in reverse order. Therefore, the lap will start with the Technomousse Xtreme Test followed by the Akrapovic Cross Test before the first time control. The second part of the lap will only involve the Champion Enduro Test. Note that, like last week, there will be no Akrapovic Super Test on Friday evening due to Covid safety standards!

After three years of absence Josep GARCIA (E – KTM) made a great comeback on Saturday when he took 3rd overall, but on Sunday he brilliantly won the EnduroGP category by more than 15 seconds ahead of his nearest rival, Brad FREEMAN (GB – Beta)! Matching the pace of the British duo

WK Portugal Mathias van Hoof: Spanning troef in Portugal
Voor de twee laatste wedstrijden van het wk enduro reisde Mathias Van Hoof af naar Marco de Canaveses in Portugal. Door de toenemende covid – 19 epidemie gaan de beide wedstrijd weekends door op dezelfde plaats. In de World cup open 4s klasse is de tussenstand zeer spannend en stond de Herentalse Husqvarna piloot op een gedeelte eerste plaats samen met landgenoot Dietger Damiaens.
De supertest die normaal vrijdag s’avonds wordt georganiseerd voor het publiek werd geschrapt. Het paddock, de specials en het podium werd volledig afgeschermd voor het publiek. Alle piloten, teamleden en organisators
