Day two of the ninety-second running of the FIM International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) in Brive, France saw all competitors complete a long and demanding day in the saddle.
Competing over the exact same course as used on day one, France topped the FIM World Trophy team class as they did on the opening day of competition, extending their advantage over Australia to four minutes and nineteen seconds. In the FIM Junior World Trophy category team USA have moved to the head of the results as Sweden – leaders at the end of day one – lost one of their team riders with a technical issue. In the FIM Women’s World Trophy class Australia have taken a commanding lead over the USA with day one winners Spain dropping to ninth.

Criteria voor ISDE
Voor de meest recente deelname van Nederland met een WTT moesten we terug naar de ISDE in Duitsland in 2012 waar een tiende plaats werd behaald. De jaren daarna was het KNMV-bestuur van mening dat een team niet de NOC&NSF topsport norm van redelijkerwijs een Top 8 á 10 zou kunnen halen. Over het niet-afvaardigen bestond

2017 FIM ISDE France: Day One – France take the lead as USA hit trouble
Day one of the ninety-second running of the FIM International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) in Brive, France saw defending FIM World Trophy team champions the USA run into troubles almost as soon as the event started. Crashing on the opening special test Thad Duvall – Husqvarna badly injured his left wrist, forcing him to retire soon afterwards.
In stark contrast to the disappointing fortunes faced by team USA, France’s FIM World Trophy squad enjoyed a successful opening day, claiming the win despite Loic Larrieu – Yamaha picking up a one-minute time penalty at the end of the day. Sweden topped the FIM Junior World Trophy class ahead of Italy and France with less than one-minute covering the top four teams. Spain head the FIM Women’s World Trophy team category.

USA ready and waiting for 2017 ISDE start
On 28 August the FIM’s longest running off road motorcycle competition will begin in Brive, France. For the first time in the ninety-two year history of the event the USA will be defending the FIM World Trophy team title, hoping to put the names of Taylor Robert – KTM, Thad Duvall – Husqvarna, Kailub Russell – KTM and Ryan Sipes – Husqvarna at the top of the prestigious event’s final standings.
2017 FIM International Six Days Enduro – France ready to welcome 92nd edition of the ISDE
The ninety-second edition of the FIM International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) is set to take place in Brive-la-Gaillarde, France from 28 August to 2 September as the event returns to France soil for the first time since 2001.
With much having changed in the World of enduro during the two most recent instalments of the ISDE in France, the popularity of the ISDE remains stronger than ever with more than eight hundred riders taking to the start of this year’s event. With nineteen FIM World Trophy teams entered, sixteen FIM Junior World Trophy teams and nine FIM Women’s World trophy teams, in addition more than five hundred riders have signed up to compete in the Club team competition, with no fewer than one hundred and sixty-six representing home nation France.
