Finland’s Eero Remes (TM) has dominated the opening day of the FIM Maxxis EnduroGP World Championship, blitzing the Enduro 2 class to finish more than two minutes ahead of countryman Henric Stigell (Husqvarna) as well as posting the day’s overall fastest time. Former world championship regular Antti Hellsten (Husqvarna) battled his way to the top of the EnduroGP class, placing close to one-and-a-half minutes ahead of Marko Tarkkala (Husqvarna).
ONK Jeugd 2017: Sterke start NK Jeugdenduro in Westerbork
Meer foto’s. Uitslag. Bijna 50 deelnemers beten in het zonnige Westerbork het spits af van het NK Jeugdenduro seizoen. Een goeie opkomst, mede omdat ’s middags de “papa’s” even twee uur aan de bak konden tijdens de Cross Country. Solo of in teamverband, het mocht allemaal en ook een deel van de jeugd ging er ’s middags nog even vrolijk tegen aan. Ondanks dat ze ’s morgens al vijf ronden enduro van een half uur gereden hadden. De inmiddels bekende ronde met een aardig aandeel zandcircuit maar ook weer die akker, de slootwallen en die hele trage bosjes. En natuurlijk de ene proef van minimaal ruim 4 minuten op en rond het circuit met naar keuze wel of niet het extreme deel.
De top drie bij de J2 was precies de eindstand van vorig jaar:
1. Jorn Zoetekouw; 2. Kaiya Brouwer: 3. Marc Zomer.

Enduro Duitsland op herhaling: 26 maart Dahlen
Twee weken na het succesvolle optreden in Itterbeck wordt er nu afgereisd naar Dahlen. Een proloog op zaterdagavond en een beruchte wedstrijd op zondag met twee proeven en veel watergaten. Vijf Nederlanders gaan daar hun positie in het open scratch kampioenschap verdedigen. (Buitenlanders krijgen in de individuele klassen geen punten in Duitsland, ook de dames niet). Ze staan er netjes bij hoor: snelste NL man in de scratch Wesley Pittens (3e), Thierry Pittens (5e), Daan Bruijsten (10e), Robin Holtmeulen (41e) en Henk Spenkelink (74e). Ook Nina Klink gaat weer voor de dagprijs. Lucas Dolfing (7e) moet even passen, die heeft het dit weekend druk in Westerbork, thuis dus, met de Jeugdenduro en de Cross Country.
KTM ENDURO FACTORY RACING TEAM READY TO RACE FOR 2017 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP SEASON
Remaining under the guidance of highly-experienced team manager Fabio Farioli, all four KTM Enduro Factory Racing riders will be battling for championship honours at the nine-round long series, which starts on March 25/26 with the EnduroGP of Finland.

Leading KTM Enduro Factory Racing’s charge in the EnduroGP class will be three-time Enduro World Champion Christophe Nambotin. Back to full fitness following a challenging 2016 season, the Frenchman will be looking to re-establish himself as a champion aboard the KTM 300 EXC machine.
