The first day at the second round of the Enduro European Championship (EEC) in Bacau / Romania was a battle against water and mud: It was two days raining non-stop – but at the same moment the first riders started, the rain stopped! This was the situation like an home-advantage for the british riders: So Tom Sagar wonn six of seven tests in the overall in front of Maurizio Micheluz. The italien is the reigning champion with his Suzuki – and was in front of the next britisch rider Jamie Lewis.

MC Sportlust zoekt het eens wat dichter bij huis!
Aangezien de Houtigehaagster motorclub tegenwoordig al 3 buitenlandse offroad trips per jaar onderneemt, valt het niet mee om elke keer weer wat nieuws te vinden. Bovendien wil je ook niet steeds een halve wereldreis ondernemen om even de zinnen te verzetten en een weekendje op je motor in de natuur te rijden. Een geplande trip naar Frankrijk kon geen doorgang vinden aangezien nu vrijwel alles in de Ardennen is “gepromoveerd” tot nationaal park en er streng wordt opgetreden. Een mooi alternatief werd gevonden in het gebied vlak tegen de Belgische grens bij Virton, hier rijdt Jos van Vugt (het oermens uit Brabant) al vele jaren zonder noemenswaardige problemen.

ISDE Argentina 2014: Going beyond the expectations
567 riders from all over the world will come to our country for the 2014 International Six Days of Enduro (FIM ISDE) edition. The oldest enduro motorcycling competition which will be held from November 3 to 8 in the city of San Juan and will count on the main stars of this specialty.
