On the first day of the Borilli European Enduro Championship 2022, the 24MX ROUND 2#, in Sipoo, Finland, local hero Eero Remes won on a Husqvarna: The Finn has already collected three world championship titles in his active career and, although he actually wanted to hang up his helmet, he couldn’t resist the temptation: “I only live 20 minutes from here and I know the terrain and the conditions well. It would be a shame not to have taken the chance to race,” he said after the competition. At first it didn’t look like he had the advantage, because in the demanding extreme test the small rider got stuck in the long stone field and lost more than 40 seconds, which dropped him to sixth place overall.

FIM Europe: Enduro 2022 – second half of championship begins in the north

The 2022 Borilli European Enduro Championship enters its second half: the 24 MX ROUND 3#, takes place oin Sipoo, Finland, just 40 km east of the capital Helsinki on 23rd and 24th of July. 
It is the chance for Belgian Erik Willems to extend his lead in the overall standings: The Husqvarna rider had lost much of his lead after technical problems in the last round. But with strong international competition, you can’t afford any mistakes, and it will show how fit Willems can present himself.

The Borilli Enduro European Championship starts again in Finland with the 24MX Round #3

In the town of Sipoo the continental enduro championship reaches its half, with 120 drivers registered, two intense days of racing are waiting for us!
24MX Round #3 is about to begin! On Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th of July, in the Finnish town of Sipoo, the fifth and sixth day of the Borilli Enduro European Championship 2022 will kick off. 24MX, has decided to flank its image entirely with the one of the Borilli Enduro European Championship’s third round, by donating its name to the entire Round. The Finnish Round marks the middle of the 2022 season, two of the four rounds scheduled have already been held and now more than ever a good performance could determine the fate of the championship. 120 riders will be in Sipoo to compete among the enchanting Finnish lands.

Simon Koning op pad naar EK Finland

Hallo allemaal!
Hier weer even een update.
De vorige keer kwam ik helaas met wat minder nieuws, namelijk dat we geen succes hadden met de TM. Daar waren we een beetje zat van, dus zijn wij op zoek gegaan naar een andere oplossing.
Gelukkig heb ik deze keer zeer goed nieuws voor jullie. Wij hebben in goed overleg met Gerco van TM racing Nederland besloten om te stoppen met TM. Ik wil alsnog Gerco enorm bedanken voor alle hulp en inzet. Want aan de moeite, tijd en energie die er van beide kanten werd ingestoken lag het echt niet. Dit maakt het extra jammer en vervelend.

Patrice Assendelft verruilt KNMV voor KNHS

Na zestien jaar verlaat directeur-bestuurder Patrice Assendelft (52) de KNMV (Koninklijke Nederlandse Motorrijders Vereniging). Hij volgt Theo Fledderus (die met pensioen gaat) op als algemeen directeur bij de KNHS (Koninklijke Nederlandse Hippische Sportfederatie).
Onder leiding van Assendelft groeide de KNMV sinds 2006 verder als gezonde en moderne vereniging en vierde het bovendien grote sportsuccessen. Hoogtepunt op dat gebied was het allereerste WK-goud ooit voor het Nederlandse motocrossteam (Assen, 2019), wat Assendelft mee mocht maken als teammanager.
