A wonderful paddock
As in 2011, the paddock is on the Buzau town hall square all covered in marble for a mix of history of the city with the small world of Enduro as we have rarely seen. Note also that it is very rare for a city of this size to welcome the best of the Enduro.

2011… The Maxxis FIM Enduro World Championship headed to Dracula’s country for the very first time. Two years later and the EWC stars are back in Romania, once again setting up camp in the charming town of Buzau. For the second time in its history, the FIM has entrusted the organisation of the event to the Moto Club Sportiv Extreme Adventure and theFederatia Romana de Motociclism.

On the second day of Enduro European-Championship in Bar sur Seine / France, the Frenchmen couldn’t win too. The overall winner was the Italian Maurizio Micheluz (again) in front of his fellow countryman Mirko Gritti. While the conditions were not Italian style, after a long and heavy rain in the night. Nederlanders blijven overeind in een uitdagende enduro
Foto’s vrijdag, zaterdag, zondag, uitrijders. 
De tweede van vier EK enduro wedstrijden ging van start in het Franse Bar sur Seine bij Troyes. In de Champagne streek was een mooie route van 60 kilometer uitgezet, vrijwel geheel onverhard, met daarin drie proeven. De actieve plaatselijke enduroclub had werkelijk alles uit de kast gehaald voor de 150 deelnemers uit 15 landen. In het lage heuvelland werd elk bultje en elke afhangende bocht benut. Nat gras, glibberige bospaadjes en hellingen met wijnstokken; alles kwamen de rijders tegen. De enduroproef had een paar serieuze klimmetjes, vooral op zondag na een nacht met regen. En na één stuurfoutje lag je zomaar 15 meter lager.

No home advantage for the french riders: Fastest rider at the european-enduro-championship in Bar sur Saine became the italian Maurizio Micheluz on the Suzuki. Micheluz, the reigning E3-Class-Champion changed this season bike and class: Now in der E1-Class the Italian rider have had his problems at the first round of the championship in his Italian home-country.
