East Brabant: tanken in België, ook in Ouffet!

De enduro in Mettet (België) 8 april is East Brabant goed bevallen. Het mooie weer, een perfecte startlocatie, met geen auto’s in de tankstraat, droegen daar zeker toe bij. Ook een 6 tal dag-gasten genoten van onze service.
Alleen jammer voor die Franse taal de hele dag, om gek van te worden.
Buiten de inters, die in hun normale klasse startten, wel eerst de Belgen en daarna de Nederlanders op scratch stand. De eerste starttijd was wel erg laat 09.30 uur.
De overige Nederlandse deelnemers waren nogal verdeeld over de vele verschillende klassen in België.

KLINK EN VIERHUIZEN PAKKEN PODIUMPLAATS IN HET EK ENDURO IN ROEMENIË

Het WPM KTM team heeft in de tweede wedstrijd om het Europees Kampioenschap Enduro in Bacau, Roemenie goede resultaten neer weten te zetten. Nina Klink wist de eerste dag te winnen en werd tweede in het eindklassement. Ook Rik Vierhuizen was ondanks een aanrijding met een boom op het podium te vinden en Robin Nijkamp weerde zich kranig in de +250-4T klasse en wist beide dagen in de top tien af te sluiten.

Podium voor Lucas Dolfing bij EK enduro Roemenië

TM rijder Lucas Dolfing uit Borger nam afgelopen weekend deel aan de tweede wedstrijd in 2018 om het Europees kampioenschap enduro. In het oosten van Roemenië bij de stad Bacau werd op beide wedstrijddagen een uitstekende derde plaats veroverd. In het fraaie heuvellandschap werd het een zware wedstrijd met vier intensieve ronden per dag en meer dan zes uur op de motor. Op zaterdag hadden de rijders veel last van het stof; per ronde moesten ze wel tweemaal het luchtfilter vervangen.

FIM Europe – Enduro-Championship, 2nd day in Bacau / Romania

Battig strikes back in Bacau on the second day
The leader in the overall championship, the Italian Alessandro Battig took revenge at the second day in the second round of the European Enduro Championship in Bacau, Romania. While he lost a lot of time in the difficult uphill, where he had to push and fight on the first day, things went smoothly for the Kawasaki pilot on Sunday: Already in the first special-test of the day he was able to ride the fastest time of all participants. In the new modified enduro test, in which the increasingly difficult uphill was taken out, he had to admit defeat from time to time, but it was enough for overall victory in the end of the day.

FIM Europe – Enduro-Championship Romania 1st day

Bacau for the Juniors at the first day
At the first day of the second round of the European Enduro Championship in Bacau, Romania, the Frenchman Hugo Blanjoue won on his KTM: At 23 years of age, he is still just a junior and is thus leading the Young Wilds in the overall standings:
With second place it was the Swede Erik Appelqvist and third place overall in the standings of the Czech Krystof Kouble, who all come from the junior class of the large-capacity E2/E3 motorcycles.
