De Herentalse Husqvarna enduro piloot Mathias Van Hoof heeft na lang overwegen een beslissing genomen die een grote invloed heeft op zijn actieve enduro carrière. Deze begon in 2014 met een Belgische titel in de  instap klasse van het Belgische enduro kampioenschap en leidde tot een gouden medaille op de sixdays en een vice-wereldtitel in de Enduro world cup open klasse. In die tussen tijd werden vele races gewonnen, banden versleten en ontelbare uren hard getraind. Maar het is aan de 28 jarige piloot tijd voor een nieuwe weg in te slagen.
