While most current riders have sadly not had the opportunity to compete with the great Mika AHOLA, due to their age, the “Brave One” Trophy remains highly coveted and means a lot for everyone in EnduroGP, because of Mika’s legendary status, riding skills, and fantastic personality. But this year has been tougher than ever on the Enduro Tests and Steve HOLCOMBE (GB – Beta) confessed on Sunday night, when gladly accepting the belt, that he did not know if he could manage to win it this season…
WESS Set For Penultimate Battle At BR2 Enduro Solsona
Wels, Austria, October 2, 2019 — The penultimate round of the World Enduro Super Series travels to Spain this weekend for the BR2 Enduro Solsona.
Hosted by Club Sip Sport in cooperation with Motor Club Solsones, BR2 Enduro Solsona is the sister Classic Enduro event to the popular Bassella Race 1. Staged over three days, Friday will see proceedings get underway with the Super Test, where riders will go head-to-head in groups of 10.
Saturday and Sunday will see competitors ride a course looping Solsona and nearby Bassella with three special tests – Enduro, Cross, Extreme – each lap, before ending the day with the exciting Super Test.

EnduroGP: Acerbis French GP – Day 2: Brad FREEMAN – 2019 EnduroGP World Champion!
What an incredible day to end the 2019 EnduroGP season! With the supreme title of EnduroGP – overall Champion – still to be decided, Brad FREEMAN (GB-Beta) gave it his all. And at the tender age of 23 he has taken the first EnduroGP title of his career. This incredible day in the sport also saw the world E2 crown awarded, as well as the Women’s World Cup.
Brad FREEMAN (GB-Beta) continues to fly the Union Jack high. He is also the first rider to end Steve HOLCOMBE (GB-Beta)’s reign. The young Brit, who is participating in only his second season in the senior classes

Holcombe – Give me Five
For this last weekend of competition in 2019, the tests of the Acerbis GP of France meant a hard time for many of the riders. Overcoming all the difficulties that arose, quadruple World Champion Steve HOLCOMBE (GBR-Beta) got the job done and won the E3 category. With this new success, he boasts an impressive five titles in his young career.
Brad FREEMAN (GBR-Beta) continues his momentum, the 2019 E1 World Champion offered up a repeat performance of the incredible pace he had in the Czech Republic. Highly focused and dominating the day, the Beta Boano rider finishes as the best performer of the day by winning 5 tests. Today the young Brit once again tamed his most serious opponent for the EnduroGP title: Steve HOLCOMBE.
