The opening day of competition at the ninety-third FIM International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) in Chile has seen the United States take an early lead in the FIM World Trophy classification. The United States secured a slender four-second margin of victory over closest rivals Australia, with Spain ending day one over one-minute behind the two nations in third.

Scheveningen, The Netherlands – November 10, 2018 — History has been made as Billy Bolt (Husqvarna – GBR) is crowned the ULTIMATE ENDURO CHAMPION 2018 at the eighth and final round of the World Enduro Super Series, Red Bull Knock Out in The Netherlands.
Becoming the World Enduro Super Series’ inaugural champion, the Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing rider claimed the top step of the championship podium ahead of Germany’s Manuel Lettenbichler (KTM) and Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Nathan Watson (KTM – GBR).

Lucas Dolfing wint alles in spannende Kampioensrit
Onder zonnige weersomstandigheden en met iedere dag drie mooie lange proeven waar gestreden werd voor elke meter, was de jubileum uitgave van de ‘Oost-Gelderland rit’ een grandioos succes. De laatste weken kropen de toprijders al dicht bijeen met hun tijden, hier was dat niet anders. Veel wisselingen en dus… spanning! Ceriel Klein Kromhof (E2) kwam na de eerste dag verrassend als winnaar uit de bus al probeerde Lucas Dolfing (E3) er finaal nog wat aan te doen. In die poging passeerde hij Hans Vogels (E2) die op de derde plaats Robin Nijkamp (E3) zag aansluiten gevolgd door Daan Bruijsten.
Wesley Pittens had geen goede eerste dag maar maakte dat op de tweede meer dan goed door lang de leiding vast te houden. De Engelsman Jed Etchells tapte deze dag uit een ander vaatje, nam de leiding over en leek de winst te gaan opstrijken. Door een bodemverkenning in de laatste proef liep dat anders waardoor Dolfing en Pittens alsnog de eerste twee plaatsen konden opeisen en Etchells op drie belandde. De vierde en vijfde plaats gingen naar Bruijsten en Klein Kromhof. Over twee dagen was Dolfing de winnaar voor Klein Kromhof en Bruijsten.
Bij de nationalen was Jeroen Klein Kromhof beide dagen de allersnelste.

The FIM International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) is ready to celebrate its ninety-third edition as the 2018 edition heads to Viña del Mar in Chile from 12-17 November. Regarded as one of the World’s most prestigious off-road motorcycle competitions, this year’s FIM ISDE will see over four-hundred professional and amateur riders from twenty-five nations compete. At the head of the entry, France look to defend both their FIM World Trophy and FIM Junior World Trophy titles, while Australia are aiming for a record-breaking sixth consecutive FIM Women’s World Trophy class win.
