Vier Nederlanders naar EK Letland
Het regende nogal in Nieuw-ZeelandOp 29 en 30 juni 2019 wordt de derde wedstrijd in het EK enduro verreden in Letland. Het stadje Madona met krap 10.000 inwoners is gastheer en vlakbij ligt een groot offroad-mx complex. Het Aanvullend reglement belooft drie ronden per dag van 60 km met steeds twee proeven, een enduro en een crossproef. Kon wel weer eens zanderig en bosachtig met wortels en moeras worden, zoals meestal in die regio.
Van de vijf ingeschreven Nederlanders bleven er vier over want Daan Bruijsten brak een week voor de reis zijn pink. Ook Tommie Jochems was nog geblesseerd.

FIM Europe – 3rd round of Enduro-Championship in Madona / Latvia – 1st day

At the third round of the European Enduro Championship in Latvia the juniors
fought for the overall victory until the last special-test on the first
competition-day: Up to this tim the Finn Roni Kytönen was still back:
“Things didn’t go so well in the very first test, but I almost caught up
until the end – I knew that I simply had to risk everything.“ – The
Husqvarna rider did as he said and even managed to take seven seconds off
championship leader Kristof Kouble. So finaly the Finn finally won the day.

FIM Europe: Enduro-Championship – Madona/Latvia 29/30 of June – Preview

Third round in Latvia
Kouble_Krystof_CZ_KTMThe European Enduro Championship will move to Latvia for the third round of the four competitions: the paddock and the administration will be located in the middle of Madona on the coming weekend of 29th and 30th of June 2019.
On Saturday and Sunday, the 100 riders from 14 nations will be sent out for the three laps from 8:00 a.m. onwards. There are around 180 km to be ridden daily and two different special stages to be completed in each lap. The Enduro test and the Crosstelst are not far apart, so that it will be easy for spectators and teams to follow the competition.

Champion Lubricants Enduro Open World Cup Report

KNIGHT & REIS Finish the Job!
The Greece-Italy tour was a tough one! And even though the riders in the Champion Lubricants Enduro Open World Cup complete one lap fewer than the EnduroGP riders, they still suffered with the very technical tests and transfers, as well as from the scorching Greek heat and the Italian downpours. However, it didn’t prevent David KNIGHT (GB – TM) and Gonçalo REIS (P – Gas Gas) from finishing the job!
