After five months and seven rounds, EnduroGP is heading to Cahors (France) this coming weekend for the final round of the 2016 series. An event that promises a thrilling end to the championship…

With only two riders so far crowned champions, in the Junior and FIM Youth Cup 125cc classes respectively, the Grand Prix AMV of France is set to see no fewer than five riders crowned world champions. All eyes will be on the coveted overall EnduroGP title, as well as the Enduro1, Enduro 2, Enduro 3 and Women’s classes.

EK finale Harfsen: aanvullend reglement

Het duurt nog krap twee maanden maar hier is alvast het aanvullend reglement voor de EK rijders. Op 28 en 29 oktober komt de Europese elite naar Harfsen; dat wil je niet missen. Meer informatie over het ONK enduro voor Inters en Nationalen volgt op korte termijn. Beide dagen tellen voor alle klassen, dus regel die snipperdagen maar vast, je zult er geen spijt van krijgen.
Website enduro Harfsen heeft ook nog een mooie plattegrond er op staan.

FIM Europe Enduro-Championship – calendar 2017

Still the season ist not over, waiting for the final at 28th and 29th of October in the Netherlands, we present the next year events. That is necessary because the clubs need the time for preparation on site.
In the year 2017 the European Enduro Championship will come from Portugal in April over Estonia in July and Germany in August to the three-day-final in Slovakia in September.
Although many more nations asked for a competition, the championship will stay with four rounds, to make it possible for most of the riders.

2017:
8th /9th of April Gouveia / Portugal
8th/ 9th of July Paikuse / Estonia
5th/6th of August Burg / Germany
15th to 17th of September Gelnica / Slovakia

This year still the final has to take place in Harfsen at Friday and Saturday, the 28th and 29th of October. None titel in any class is decided yet – all decisions has to fall on this weekend.

EK enduro Latvia day 2: Juniors have to wait

Linusson_Andreas_S_KTMDay 2 of the third round of European Enduro Championship was held today at Ogre, in Latvia, and also in this occasion the “junior” riders were beaten: the fastest rider of the day was, in fact, Czech Jaromir Romancik again. During the last stages his KTM had electric problems, and it took him time to solve them, but he managed to do it. The junior riders, however, are not too far: Andreas Linusson, riding his first European Championship in Latvia, was only 1.26 seconds behind him.

2016 EK enduro, 30-31 juli, Ogre, Letland

Van klapzand en modder zijn de Nederlanders niet bang. De pas 20-jarige Thierry Pittens al helemaal niet. Met een tweede en een eerste plaats werd hij weekend winnaar in de E1 bij de derde EK wedstrijd van dit jaar.
Het gebied rond Ogre ten oosten van Riga is vlak, zanderig en bosachtig. De korte maar felle regenbuien maakten vooral het tweede deel van de wedstrijdroute bijna onbegaanbaar. Zelfs de toprijders moesten elkaar door de moerassige gedeelten sleuren.
Helpen is bij enduro gebruikelijk maar niet in de proeven. Ook de derde special in een steengroeve had veel last van water. Waar zijn concurrenten zich in die proef op zondag zelfs vastreden, kon Pittens er omheen. Hij vergrootte zijn voorsprong en zo bezegelde hij zijn eerste podium. Een pracht prestatie voor de jonge Nederlander. Zijn derde plaats in het tussenklassement biedt nog alle kansen voor de finale eind oktober in het Nederlandse Harfsen.
Ook Lucas Dolfing voelde zich als een vis in het water. Door zijn derde plaats in de E3 klom hij naar de zesde plaats in het klassement, kort achter de topdrie.
Tegenslag was er dan weer voor Nina Klink. Door kruisbandproblemen was het doel om punten te sprokkelen. Door de zware omstandigheden lukte dat alleen op de eerste dag; op zondag moest zij uitvallen na vastrijden in het moeras. Hierdoor zakte ze van de tweede naar de vijfde plaats.
De rest van de veertien Nederlanders scoorden de nodige toptien plaatsen en veteraan Peter Lenselink klom zelfs naar de derde plaats in het klassement.
