The overall of the first day at the fourth and last round of the Enduro European Championship (EEC) in Uhlirske Janovice/CZ was won by the british rider Steve Holcombe with more than one minute lead. With this victory he won also his Juniors-Class E1 and crowned himself to the next european-champion in this class!  He have had the advantage to go first into the special-test, which has been very slippery after the rain in the night. The riders become struggling more and more over the day.

Nambotin and Renet Crowned Champions In Italy
The FIM Maxxis Enduro World Championship GP Acerbis of Italy drew to a celebratory close with both Christophe NAMBOTIN and Pela RENET crowned Enduro 1 and Enduro 2 World Champions. With Day Two in Lumezzane greeted with torrential rain and thunderstorms it was in fact bothNAMBOTIN and RENET who weathered the storm best to clinch their respective titles. There was also delight for the home crowd as outgoing Enduro 2 champion Alex SALVINI (Honda) picked up his second victory of the weekend.

..  een gebroken voet voor E3 klassementsleider Matthew Phillips. Runner up (en nog steeds geblesseerd) Ivan Cervantes kan met een vijfde plaats niet echt profiteren. Balleti wint en David Knight wordt tweede.
Christophe Nambotin wint de E1 en is al kampioen. Cristobal Guerrero tweede en Oldrati derde. In de E2 valt Johnny Aubert (was tweede in het klassement) al in de eerste proef uit met motorpech. Alex Salvini wint weer maar Pela Renet heeft aan de derde plaats genoeg om ook nu al kampioen te worden. Klik hier voor alle uitslagen.

Phillips On Song In Lumezzane
Matt PHILLIPS delivers the goods on Day One of the FIM Maxxis Enduro World Championship GP Acerbis of Italy in Lumezzane. Australia’s Matt PHILLIPS (KTM) took a convincing win in the Enduro 3 class on Day One. France’s Christophe NAMBOTIN (KTM) edged one step closer to his first Enduro 1 world title with victory, while home favourite Alex SALVINI (Honda) bagged a much deserved race win in the Enduro 2 category.
