Kaiya Brouwer voor KTM België en Technobike in BK Enduro

In 2020 zal de jonge enduro rijder uit Daarlerveen van start gaan in het BK Enduro voor Technobike met ondersteuning van KTM België. Na een goede samenwerking tijdens La Chinelle met het KTM team, en de mooie resultaten in zn eerste Enduro jaar, kwam KTM België met een geweldig mooi voorstel voor het nieuwe seizoen. Hierdoor kan Kaiya veel ervaring opdoen in Belgie en Frankrijk, en mee draaien in een topteam.

FIM Superenduro: Taddy BLAZUSIAK Reigns in Riesa

In the first race, the SuperEnduro veteran shot out of the blocks but found himself behind Husqvarna rivals Billy BOLT (GBR-Husqvarna) and Alfredo GOMEZ (ESP-Husqvarna), who both made a great start to the heat. However, they remained under constant pressure from the factory KTM rider. At the halfway point, BOLT, who had got into a strong lead at the end of the first lap, made a series of errors which threw him off guard. The young Brit then suffered a big crash on the ‘bridge section.’ Stunned and suffering pain, he saw BLAZUSIAK slip away from his grip. Alfredo GOMEZ (ESP-Husqvarna) put his bike in 2nd place after a tussle with Jonny WALKER (GBR-KTM). While WALKER himself was ready and willing to grab 3rd place in the race, after doing an absolutely incredible job to recover from the back of the field after a first corner crash. BOLT came over the line in 4th despite feeling the effects of his heavy fall.

QUINTANILLA AND SHORT GEAR UP FOR 2020 DAKAR RALLY

ROCKSTAR ENERGY HUSQVARNA FACTORY RACING DUO SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETE SHAKEDOWN TEST AHEAD OF SUNDAY’S OPENING STAGE
Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing’s Pablo Quintanilla and Andrew Short have completed their pre-race shakedown and are all set to begin their participation in the 2020 Dakar Rally, which starts with stage one on Sunday, January 5.

Following months of preparation, the two-rider team is now fully set to take on the world’s most challenging cross-country rally. Held in the Middle East for the first time, this 42nd edition of the Dakar will be run over 12 gruelling stages, covering over 7,800 kilometres.

Italy Awaits 2020 FIM ISDE

This year’s FIM International Six Days of Enduro (ISDE) might only have come to a close but plans are already in place for next year’s race to take place in Italy.

For what will be the ninety-fifth edition of the FIM’s longest-running motorcycle race, the 2020 FIM ISDE will be held in Rivanazzano Terme in northern Italy from 31 August to 5 September.

A nation rich in Enduro heritage, Italy last held the FIM ISDE in 2013 on the island of Sardinia.
In 2020, it will be the Apennies region of Lombardy and Piedmont that will showcase the beauty of the country to off-road motorcycling enthusiasts from around the World. For race week Rivanazzano Terme’s air strip will turn into the headquarters for this iconic race.

VOORTZETTING SAMENWERKING CHROMEBURNER EN MIRJAM POL

Onlangs werd in Nieuwkuijk, waar het nieuwe pand van ChromeBurner is gevestigd, de voortzetting van de samenwerking tussen het motorkledingbedrijf en rallyrijdster Mirjam Pol beklonken. Beide partijen sloegen vorig jaar de handen ineen en dat bleek een succesvolle match…
