Josep Garcia Takes Early Advantage At Hawkstone Park Cross-Country
Shrewsbury, Great Britain – 22 September, 2018 — Spain’s Josep Garcia (KTM) sets the pace at round six of the World Enduro Super Series to secure the Fast Eddy Sprint Enduro win at the Hawkstone Park Cross-Country in Great Britain.
Putting in a world-class performance, Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Garcia stamped his authority on Saturday’s Sprint Enduro to secure a 35-second margin of victory over teammate Nathan Watson (GB).

Wels, Austria – September 20, 2018 — Manuel Lettenbichler leads the championship chase as the World Enduro Super Series heads to Great Britain for round six, the Hawkstone Park Cross-Country. With the UK set for two days of world-class Enduro racing, Germany’s Lettenbichler (KTM) faces championship rival Billy Bolt (Husqvarna – GB) on his home turf as the race to become this year’s ULTIMATE ENDURO CHAMPION heats up.

RIK VIERHUIZEN PAKT ZILVER IN DE EINDSTAND BIJ DE EK ENDURO 2018

Terwijl heel motor minded Nederland bezig was met de prestaties van Jeffrey Herlings en zijn schitterende wereldtitel in de MX-1 te Assen, streden er andere Nederlanders in het Poolse Kielce bij de laatste wedstrijd voor het EK enduro. Nina Klink moest helaas verstek laten gaan door haar opgelopen blessure aan de knie- en kruisbanden ( waar ze binnenkort aan moet worden geopereerd ). Door haar afwezigheid grepen haar concurrentes hun kans en Nina zakte van een 2e naar een 5e plaats in de eindstand., waar ze nog gerust trots op kan zijn… !

Lucas Dolfing scoort derde plaats in EK enduro eindstand na Polen

De driedaagse finale van het Europees kampioenschap werd verreden in het Poolse Kielce. Na eerdere wedstrijden in Italië, Roemenië en Zweden stond endurorijder Lucas Dolfing uit Borger op de derde plaats in de tussenstand. De TM rijder deed er alles aan om zich nog te verbeteren.
Op beide endurodagen kregen de rijders vier ronden op een route van 55 kilometer voorgeschoteld met daarin twee tijdproeven. Met een rijtijd van 7,5 uur per dag en meer dan een uur proeftijd werd dit een echte zware enduro. Vooral de verbindingsroute met enorme knipgaten, moddergaten en paden met boomwortels deed een aanslag op de conditie.
