2016 FIM International Six Days Enduro – Day Two – USA Extend World Trophy Team Lead

2016pb10_isde_day2_fimAt the end of day two of the 2016 FIM International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) in Navarra, Spain team USA extended their lead in the World Trophy classification, following another hard-fought battle with Italy. The competition was extremely close between the three leading nations – USA, Italy and Spain – with just ten seconds separating them come the end of the day’s racing. Helped by an impressive, near day winning performance from Taylor Robert – KTM the four-rider USA squad are now placed thirty-two seconds ahead of Italy in the overall class classification.

ISDE SPAIN: Day One – USA Take World Trophy Team Lead

isde_day1_redondiAt the end of the first day’s competition at the 91st edition of the FIM International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) in Navarra, Spain the USA have taken an early lead in the World Trophy Team competition, just as they did at last year’s event in Slovakia. Helped by overall runner-up and third place results from team members Kailub Russell – KTM and Taylor Robert – KTM, the USA team sit twenty-six seconds ahead of Italy with Great Britain third at this point.

Erik Buursema reed Red Bull Sea to Sky

erik-buursema_re-sea-to-skyOp 6, 7 en 8 oktober reed Erik Buursema als enige deelnemer van Nederland de RedBull Sea to Sky. Het 3 dagen durend event met meer dan 250 deelnemers was rijkelijk voorzien van stenen en rotsen en het eindpunt lag boven op een berg met een hoogte van 2360 mtr.
De einduitslag na een traject van ongeveer 60 km. en bijna 4 uur was:
1. Lars Enockl, KTM 250 EXC, Oostenrijk (Nr. 9)
2. Andreas Lettenblicher, KTM 300 EXC, Duitsland (Nr. 2)
3. Scott Bouverie, KTM 250, Zuid-Afrika (Nr. 14)
32. Erik Buursema , Husqvarna 300 2T, Nederland (Nr. 30)
