2016 FIM International Six Days’ Enduro: Spain prepares to host 91st edition of ISDE
In a little over twelve months time Spain will have the great honour of hosting the 91st edition of the FIM International Six Days’ Enduro (ISDE), as the oldest competition in the international calendar that will take place at the Circuito de Navarra. This now established motorsport facility, situated near Los Arcos in the Navarra region of Northern Spain, which was first opened back in 2010 will welcome riders from a wide range of nations come next October.

With this year’s FIM International Six Days’ Enduro (ISDE) – the 90th edition of this great event – to be held in Kosice, Slovakia from 7 to 12 September now less than a month away it seems the perfect moment to reflect on the long history of this hugely important FIM competition.

Met een aantal leden van de Enduroclub uit Friesland, aangevuld met “stelletje Hollanders” uit Rotterdam en omstreken zijn we voor 10 dagen naar Sibiu gegaan. De planning was om zelf eerst een paar dagen te gaan rijden en dan waar mogelijk de wedstrijd te volgen en eens te zien wat die toppers nu eigenlijk anders doen.

Bescheiden opkomst FIM Enduro Trainingskamp 2015 voor vrouwen
Acht vrouwelijke endurorijders namen deel aan het eerste door FIM (Internationale Motorsportbond) georganiseerde Enduro Trainingskamp voor vrouwen. De training vond plaats afgelopen 14 tm 16 juli 2015 in het Domain Trial Enduro in Bilstain (BE) en is één van de middelen die de FIM commissie Women in Motorcycling inzet om het niveau van vrouwen in de Enduro sport te stimuleren.
