Freeman and Ruprecht supreme on day one of ACERBIS GP of Italy
It was a battle to the very end on day one of the second round of the Borilli FIM EnduroGP World Championship as Britain’s Brad Freeman (Beta) eventually edged out Australia’s Will Ruprecht (TM) for the win at the ACERBIS GP of Italy. A thrilling, day-long battle between the duo saw Freeman snatch the EnduroGP win by just two seconds. There was plenty for the Italian fans to cheer about as Andrea Verona (GASGAS) topped Enduro1 with Matteo Pavoni (TM) delivering a winning ride in Enduro Junior. Harry Edmondson (Fantic) put the Italian manufacturer on top in Enduro Youth.

KNMV cross country: geslaagde start in Markelo
Eindstand. / Foto’s. De loting voor de startplaats betekende voor sommigen wat werk maar na 17 intensieve ronden en twee uur rijtijd kwam de fitte Daan Bruijsten toch mooi als eerste bij de geblokte vlag. Thierry Pittens lag lang tweede maar moest op het eind toch wat toegeven. Max Schwarte kreeg die beker en Tommie Jochems eindigde keurig op drie.
Warme strijd bij jeugdenduro Markelo
Officiële uitslag. / Foto’s. Op een zonnige en al snel warme zaterdagmorgen in juni mocht er eindelijk weer gereden worden. Daar hadden maar liefst 35 jonkies wel oren naar. Nieuwe gezichten zoals de dappere JE1 strijder uit België, Axl Schepens, die ook meteen zijn klasse won na drie keurig gereden ronden.
En vertrouwde gezichten want bij de JE2 ging het weer tussen Ties Bennink en Siebe Winters. Ties had toch net wat meer trainingsuren denk ik want hij won ruim deze keer.

EnduroGP moves on at pace with ACERBIS GP of Italy
Following hot on the heels of the series opening GP of Portugal, the 2021 Borilli FIM EnduroGP World Championship is back in action this coming weekend as the six-round series heads east across Europe to Edolo, Italy for the ACERBIS GP of Italy. With the first round of the championship delivering two days of high drama and close racing, round two is expected to see much of the same as the battle for EnduroGP top-honours continues.
