FIM Hard Enduro World Championship Looks Ahead To Series Re-start

Wels, Austria – May 18, 2021 — Following the challenging circumstances that unfortunately plagued the opening round of the 2021 FIM Hard Enduro World Championship at Extreme XL Lagares and then led to the subsequent cancellation of this year’s Red Bull Erzbergrodeo, the series is ready to bounce back strongly after this unprecedented double-disappointment.

With this chapter now closed, the FIM and WESS GmbH are now looking forward to the re-start of this year’s series, and to having the opportunity to deliver a diverse and exciting mix of events over the remainder of the season.

The next six events will ensure that the inaugural series is remembered for all the right reasons, whilst also being worthy of crowning the first ever FIM Hard Enduro World Champion. Billy Bolt Shines In The Mud At Extreme XL Lagares

Porto, Portugal – May 9, 2021 — Britain’s Billy Bolt topped the podium at Extreme X Lagares, round one of the FIM Hard Enduro World Championship.
In what was a shortened schedule of racing due to last-minute covid restrictions, Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing’s Billy Bolt picked up where he left off following Saturday’s qualifying to take the top step of the podium in Sunday’s Endurocross.
He was joined on the podium by Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Manuel Lettenbichler, with Bolt’s teammate Graham Jarvis completing the top three.

Bolt Tops Extreme XL Lagares Qualifying

Billy Bolt laid down the Endurocross hot lap to take pole position over Jonny Walker and Taddy Blazusiak at the FIM Hard Enduro World Championship opener in Portugal.
After 48 hours of uncertainty, racing finally got underway at Extreme XL Lagares with Saturday’s Endurocross qualification.

Competitors faced a short but decisive two-lap qualification session around the hectic Endurocross course to qualify for Sunday’s feature races. Under the revised schedule, implemented due to new Covid regulations, competitors will contest three 20-minute Endurocross heats on Sunday to determine the overall winner of this year’s event.
