Kept from the top step of the EnduroGP podium on day one by Eero REMES (TM), on day two of the GP of Finland it was Matt PHILLIPS who topped the results after the Tasmanian ace blasted his way to an eventual nine seconds winning advantage. With little to separate REMES, PHILLIPS and Nathan WATSON (KTM) throughout the day, it was PHILLIPS who best matched speed with consistency to earn his third outright day win of the championship so far.

Doing exactly what many predicted he would, and his rivals hoped he wouldn’t, Eero REMES (TM) claimed EnduroGP class victory on day one of the GP of Finland. Fast and consistent throughout the day the defending Enduro 1 World Champion placed 24 seconds ahead of Britain’s Steve HOLCOMBE (Beta) with fellow Brit Nathan WATSON (KTM) rounding out the overall podium. REMES’ victory puts the Finn at the top of the EnduroGP championship standings.

De Zwarte Cross en de KNMV zijn een samenwerking aangegaan, waarbij de finalewedstrijd van de Dutch Masters of Motocross in 2017 verreden zal worden tijdens het Zwarte Crossfestival. Daarmee wordt de Zwarte Cross – met 197.450 bezoekers in 2015 – het grootste officiële sportevent van Nederland (nu de TT in Assen) en het grootste motocrossevenement ter wereld.
The FIM Enduro Commission, with the support of the French Federation (FFM), is organising a unique training camp for women, youth and junior Enduro riders from 12 to 15 September 2016 in Najac (France).
FIM Enduro Commission Director Jean-Guillaume Meiller welcomes this initiative: “This training camp is an excellent opportunity for youngsters to prepare for the ISDE that will gather together the Enduro community for a week of exciting competition in October. The aim is to encourage more women and young people to practise and stay with Enduro, and the excellent facilities at the centre at Najac will certainly be a motivating factor for all participants.”
