Wrapping up a near perfect weekend at the AMV GP of Euskadi in Gordexola, Mathias BELLINO (Husqvarna) was again the rider to beat in the overall EnduroGP class as the Frenchman claimed victory on day two. Repeating the form that saw him top the EnduroGP results on day one, Mathias ended Sunday’s competition close to 30 seconds ahead of FrenchmanLoic LARRIEU (Yamaha) with Nathan WATSON (KTM) rounding out the top three.

Husqvarna mounted Frenchman Mathias BELLINO bounced back from his disappointing results at the recent GP of Sweden to claim a well-deserved win on day one of the GP AMV Seguros of Euskadi, Spain. Finishing an eventual 25 seconds ahead of his closest challenger at the end of another tough day of EnduroGP competition, the former Enduro 3 World Champion claimed his first win since topping the opening day of the series in Morocco.

Pol Motors ook vertegenwoordigd in de Redbull Romaniacs. Van 9-12 juli wordt dit jaar weer de zwaarste meerdaagse extreme enduro ter wereld verreden in Sibiu, Roemenië. MC Sportlust rijder Wopke Hoekstra gaat proberen de Bronze class uit te rijden en een knap resultaat neer te zetten. Ties Pol nam de shirtsponsoring voor zijn rekening om zijn clubgenoot mooi voor de ruim vertegenwoordigde internationale media te presenteren. “Als hij dit uit rijdt ga ik volgend jaar ook mee”, aldus Ties.
Yamaha-rijder Wesley Pittens kwam eerder dit jaar hard ten val tijdens het Europees Kampioenschap Enduro in Italie. Pittens liep bij de valpartij breuken op in drie ruggenwervels, brak een rib en liep hierbij een klaplong op.

Following on from the recent Scandinavian events it’s onwards and upwards for the stars of the FIM EnduroGP World Championship as the series heads to Gordexola in the Basque Country, Spain for the sixth GP of the year.
