KNIGHTER, A Favourite in the Enduro Open World Cup!

ENDUROGP-open-class-pic-Fast-Action_PhotographyVoorlopig ook aangemeld voor de Open klasse in Dahlen: Rik Vierhuizen, Bas Klein Haneveld, Thijs Bulten, Kaiya Brouwer, Sylven Teunissen, Tom Smit en Leo Moulijn in de Openklasse. Mike Bokslag en Marc Zomer in de Youth 125 cc klasse. Gelukkig rijdt David Knight bij de senioren (zeg maar 40+).

The creation of the new Enduro Open World Cup is proving to be a success already with nearly 60 riders entered into the three categories (2-stroke, 4-stroke and Senior) which make up this brand new Open World Cup…

The most recent rider to announce his participation is a former regular of the Maxxis FIM EnduroGP World Championship… David KNIGHT (GB)! The Triple World Champion will ride a Suzuki 300RMZ in the Senior category.

MEO Back in EnduroGP!

Without doubt, Honda RedMoto have really lit up the transfer market this year! After announcing a stellar line-up with their Factory team, as well as the Lunigiana and Sembenini teams, the ‘reds’ have decided to up the ante even more by bringing the five-time World Champion: Antoine MEO (F) out of retirement!

Absent from the Maxxis FIM Enduro World Championship paddock since the 2015 season, where he took his final E2 title in Réquista (France), Antoine MEO then turned to rallies where he showed his pace again, finishing the Dakar Rally twice (7th in 2016, 4th in 2018). Unfortunately, ‘The Alligator’ was hampered by many injuries to his wrists and knees

Vooraanmelden ISDE 2019 en EK Enduro 2019

Bron: KNMV. De ISDE (Enduro Zesdaagse) 2019 is dit jaar in Portugal. Van 11 t/m 16 november is het wegracecircuit in Portimão het kloppend hart van deze speciale WK Enduro voor zowel diverse landenteams als clubteamrijders.
Wil je meedoen aan de ISDE 2019 (als clubteamrijder): meld je dan aan bij de KNMV door een e-mail te sturen naar: m.pieterse@knmv.nl!

De deadline voor aanmelding is vrijdag 8 februari a.s. Daarna stelt de KNMV het totaal aantal aanmeldingen vast (hoeveel clubteams er aangevraagd moeten worden). Deze opgaaf gaat richting de organisator in Portugal en de FIM. Naar verwachting weten we medio mei/juni officieel hoeveel Nederlandse clubteams geaccepteerd zijn en hoeveel rijders hiervoor ingeschreven kunnen worden.

The FIM & ABC Communication Launch the World Enduro Open Cup!

For almost two years Bastien & Alain BLANCHARD (ABC Communication) have worked to change the Maxxis FIM EnduroGP World Championship, hoping to make it more accessible for privateer riders and to substantially increase the number of participants.
Their latest project was validated by the FIM Enduro Commission at the beginning of the Autumn under the leadership of its new director Mr John COLLINS and was accepted by the FIM Board just few days ago: the Enduro Open World Cup is coming!
