Championship for Micheluz, Montanari and Senior Krywult
On the second day of the three-day finale of the European Enduro Championship in Kielce, Poland, further drivers were able to secure the title.
The Italian Maurizio Micheluz won the two-strokes up to 250 cc with another day’s victory, so far unbeaten the championship. But it is not the first title for the Husavarna rider, who has often been at the top of the podium in recent years.

FIM-Europe enduro: EC Poland, Alessandro Battig is already champion
Kawasaki rider Alessandro Battig from Italy won the title in his class on the first day of the European Enduro Championship final in Kielce, Poland!
With a further day victory in the class of the four-stroke machines over 250 ccm, he was able to extend his lead unassailably.
In the remaining two days of competition he will concentrate on winning the title in the overall standings in addition. There, too, the Italian is in the lead of the European Championship and with his second place in the overall standings today, Friday, he has come a little closer to this goal. Although he was beaten on this day by his compatriot, the junior Lorenzo Macoritto, he was able to leave his direct rivals in the championship behind, as the Frenchman Hugo Blanjoue only finished third.

Enduro-Countdown: 3.….2…..1
The Finale of the FIM Europe Enduro Championship will take place in Kielce / Poland from 14th to 16th of September.
It will be a „3“-days event, with „2“ days of classic enduro and „1“ final-motocross.
The first two days will be on a 50km long circuit, which has to be ridden four times and includes a motocross test and an enduro test every lap.
The motocross on the last day takes place about 25 km away from the Parc ferme.

Once again, the survivors of the first day where not spared the rain and this morning they started again for four new laps of a very demanding course set up by the Moto Club Sebino. Despite the bad weather, the tifosi (fans) once again responded by turning out in droves and cheering their favourites such as SALVINI (I – Husqvarna), REDONDI (I – Honda RedMoto) and OLDRATI (I – Honda RedMoto) all day long…

Rainy and chilly this morning, this first day of the Acerbis Grand Prix of Italy eventually turned sunny from midday onwards and was able to offer the fans – who came in droves – a beautiful show with many plot twists in all categories!
Starting with the top class, EnduroGP, where Alex SALVINI (I – Husqvarna) was forced to retire on the third lap, the fault of a poor quality fuel… the Italian, who was the leader of the category when he arrived in Edolo, lost big points and could only watch as his closest competitor, Steve HOLCOMBE (GB – Beta) took first place.
