EnduroGP: Acerbis French GP – Day 1

For this last weekend of competition in 2019, the tests of the Acerbis GP of France meant a hard time for many of the riders. Overcoming all the difficulties that arose, quadruple World Champion Steve HOLCOMBE (GBR-Beta) got the job done and won the E3 category. With this new success, he boasts an impressive five titles in his young career.

Brad FREEMAN (GBR-Beta) continues his momentum, the 2019 E1 World Champion offered up a repeat performance of the incredible pace he had in the Czech Republic. Highly focused and dominating the day, the Beta Boano rider finishes as the best performer of the day by winning 5 tests. Today the young Brit once again tamed his most serious opponent for the EnduroGP title: Steve HOLCOMBE.

Max Schwarte start in Enduro kampioenschap op Sherco 125SE

De 19 jarige Max Schwarte uit Nijverdal uitkomend in het Open Nederlands kampioesnschap MX2 op een Gebben Yamaha, waar hij momenteel op een keurige 9e plaats staat heeft in overleg met zijn team en sponsors besloten om zich ook te gaan richten op het rijden van Enduro’s.

Mede dankzij de ondersteuning van o.a. Marcel Morsing van Stichting Motorsport Promotie Oost Nederland, Autobedrijf Bie Olthof te Nijverdal en Harmsen MX Service heeft Max Schwarte vorige week besloten om met behulp van ondersteuning van Sherco Benelux uit te komen op een Sherco 125 SE FACTORY in het E1 Inters kampioenschap.

Max heeft tijdens diverse jeugd enduro’s in het verleden en tijdens de cross country in Harfsen vorige week op beide dagen laten zien

Tegenslag voor Thierry Pittens in het ONK enduro in Walcourt

Thierry Pittens van het Laurense Husqvarna team heeft in het Open Nederlands Kampioenschap in het Belgische Walcourt tegenslag gekend. Hij liet tot aan een valpartij goede tijden zien en zou tweede zijn geworden in de E3 klasse. Maar omdat hij te hard heeft gereden in een 30 kilometer zone werd hij gediskwalificeerd en kwam daardoor niet tot scoren.

Voor Thierry was het weer zijn eerste wedstrijd na zijn zware beenblessure die hij had opgelopen in de WESS competitie in Portugal.
