Mathias Van Hoof: Een traan en een lach…

Na de zomerpauze stonden nog 4 endurowedstrijden op het programma voor het BK Enduro 2019. De eerste in de reeks werd in Ouffet bij Luik gereden, daarna volgden Dinant en afgelopen weekend de wedstrijd in het Franse Verdun. Voor de eerste in deze reeks leidde Mathias Van Hoof het BK met 21 punten, maar daar kwamen grote veranderingen in tijdens de afgelopen 3 wedstrijden.

In Ouffet stonden 2 specials en 6 ronden op het programma. De eerste proef ging nog goed met een derde plaats voor de BETA rijder uit Herentals, maar in proef 2 haperde de motor door een elektrisch probleem.

Vogels klaar voor het seizoen na mooi weekend in Verdun (FR)

Vogels is klaar voor het seizoen.
“Het heeft me goed gedaan, die wedstrijden in het Belgisch kampioenschap. Ik zit lekker in mijn ritme en weet waar ik op moet letten.” Niet alleen de rijders van het Belgisch kampioenschap streden met Vogels om de bekers, maar dit keer was het een regionale wedstrijd in Verdun, Frankrijk, waar naast de Fransen en de Belgen ook nog Zwitsers mee reden. Met weer een mooie tweede plaats op zak kijkt Vogels tevreden terug en met vertrouwen vooruit.

Zaterdag begon het met regen..
Zaterdagochtend vertrok Hans vogels met Gert Jan Reijnders naar het Franse Verdun. Dit keer was er na de reis van 365 km

FIM Europe: Finnland wins the Trophy at the Final of Enduro-Championship in Heinola / Finland

Fourth round in Finland – 3nd and final day in Heinola: Finland wins in Finland
On the third and last riding day at the finals of the European Enduro Championship in Heinola, Finland, the national teams’ scores were decided:
The “Heinola MotoKlub” (HeMK) had prepared the final motocross on the former MX World Championship track very well and could therefore be carried out without problems.
The riders went to the start in classes, but their results were also evaluated across the board for the teams.

In the end it was not surprising that host Finland won the Trophy with Roni Kytönen, Antti Hänninen, Mika Tamminen and Eemil Pohjola. Second was the Trophy from Slovakia and third was the team from Sweden.

FIM Europe: 2nd day of finale of enduro-championship in Heinola / Finland

Local hero Roni Kytönen was able to clinch both possible titles early, on the second day of the European Enduro Championship finale in Heinola, Finland.
With an overall victory of the day, the Husqvarna rider not only clinched the title in the small cubic capacity class juniors E1, but also the European Champion title in the overall standings of all drivers.

But in the first of the three laps it didn’t look like that yet: In the second special stage, the 19-year-old had crashed

FIM Europe enduro & rallye commisson: extraordinary meeting

The FIM Enduro & Rally Commission took advantage of the moment on Thursday in Heinola on the the final of the European Enduro Championship: Almost all members of the commission were present and so the Chairman Marco Bolzonello (Italy) had invited to an extraordinary meeting.
In particular, the two guests, Enduro promoter Wolfgang Butzner and the Enduro press officer, spoke about the future of Enduro racing and the development of the number of participants beyond the coming year.
Bolzonello then discussed with the members Pavol Sas (Slovakia), Robert Svensson (Sweden), Artus Robeznieks (Latvia) and Hannu Häkkälä (Finland) the regulations and implementation of the events Rallye, Cross-Country and Bajas for the coming year.
