EK enduro Italië: mooie vijfde plaats voor Lucas Dolfing
TM rijder Lucas Dolfing uit Borger nam afgelopen weekend deel aan de eerste wedstrijd in 2018 om het Europees kampioenschap enduro. In de Italiaanse heuvels niet ver van Ancona werd het vooral op de eerste dag een pittige wedstrijd waarbij de rijders 7 ½ uur op de motor zaten. Vier ronden van 60 kilometer met daarin drie proeven moesten er afgelegd worden.
Op de tweede dag duurde de wedstrijd één ronde korter.
De Nederlands kampioen van 2016 scoorde op beide dagen een prima 5e plaats.

WPM KTM TEAM KENT POSITIEVE START VAN HET EUROPEES KAMPIOENSCHAP ENDURO
Het WPM KTM team is sterk aan het Europees Kampioenschap Enduro in het Italiaanse Fabriano begonnen. Na twee zware dagen mochten Nina Klink en Rik Vierhuizen plaats nemen op het podium.
Robin Nijkamp kwam steeds beter in zijn ritme en finishte in de top tien in de over 250 4-takt klasse en Jan Willem Arendsen deed enorm veel ervaring op in zijn allereerste enduro in de bergen en sloot beide dagen af op een vierde plaats in de 250 2-takt klasse.

FIM Europe Enduro-Championship – 2nd day in Fabriano / Italy
Double for Battig
At the second day oft he first round of the FIM European Enduro-Championship in Fabriano / Italy the local hero Alessandro Battig took the overal-victory as he did the first day. Again his countryman Maurizio Micheluz was a little time the fastest, but then, this Husqvarna-rider made himself some mistakes in the following enduro-test and finished only fourth behind his team-member Matteo Pavoni, the reinging overal-champion, in the end of the day.

FIM Europe – Enduro-Championship – 1st day in Fabriano / Italy
Italy first…
The new season of the European Championship started right this Saturday, the 14th of April 2018, in Fabriano / Italy (200 km north of Rome).
And the first winner in this competition has been an Italian rider too!
It was a continuation of the Italian championship – last years overall champion Matteo Pavoni was fighting against his countrymen Maurizio Micheluz and Alessandro Battig.
