Decision on the very last day
It was not until Saturday, 2 October 2021, at the final of the European Enduro Championship in Hellendoor, the Netherlands, that the title of best rider in all classes was decided:
Krystof Kouble from the Czech Republic competed: the Sherco rider had started the day eight championship points behind and still finished the season as the new champion! “I felt comfortable from the start and didn’t make any mistakes,” the junior was pleased afterwards. In fact, he had not won a single special stage by the halfway point, but was already leading by a clear margin because the competitors behind him were making life difficult for each other. Especially his biggest competitor, the Italian Enrico Rinaldi, did not manage well at all: “After the overnight rain, the track was very slippery and I didn’t want to take to much risks.” Towards the end of the day things went a little better again, but the wrong lane choice in the last extreme test then cost him almost half a minute and threw him back to sixth place in the overall standings. This ate up his points lead and Kouble was crowned the new champion.

EK/ONK Hellendoorn: even terugkijken
Ook op de mooi droge zaterdag liep de wedstrijd als een trein. Fijne heel verschillende proeven, pittig maar niet te zwaar en alles onder controle. Kortom, hulde aan de hele grote groep vrijwilligers van de MCNH en daarbuiten. Dit zijn niet mijn woorden maar dat zeiden meerdere Nederlandse en buitenlandse rijders en begeleiders tegen mij.
En toen moest de prijsuitreiking nog beginnen. Lekker vlot en informeel met uiteraard een zeer gezellige nazit. Derde of vierde manche ofzo. Daar zijn even geen foto’s van maar het was wel zwaar.

FIM Europe: Enduro 2021 – Hellendoorn / Netherland – First Champions are crowned
On Friday, 1 October 2021, at the final of the European Enduro Championship in Hellendoor, the Netherlands, the first champions were already determined on the first day of riding: The three riders Pyry Juupaluoma from Finland, Thiebaut Passet from France and Jaromir Romancik from the Czech Republic have so much lead in their displacement classes that it is impossible to catch them even on the last day of competition.
In fact, the finale of the European Championship already started on Thursday evening with a prologue on the deep sand motocross track of the organising Motorclub Nijverdal Hellendoorn (MCNH): Krystof Kouble, who is still fighting for the title in the junior class and in the overall ranking, won there.

Wedstrijdverslag ONK Enduro Vorden 26 sept 2021
ONK herstart met winst voor Lucas Dolfing
Na ruim anderhalf jaar weer een ONK enduro en meteen maar met een flink aantal deelnemers waaronder vele oude bekenden. Maar ook aanstormende talenten vooral uit de oud-endurojeugd. Thierry Pittens en Lucas Dolfing domineerden de scratch inters met tienden van seconden verschil in de twee korte bosproeven. Meerdere lange bosproeven brachten uiteindelijk toch het voordeel bij Dolfing. De derde plaats was inzet van een gelijk opgaande strijd tussen Hans Vogels, Mike Bokslag en Robin Nijkamp. Vogels maakte een fout waardoor Nijkamp de derde plaats stevig in handen kreeg. Bokslag liftte ook mee maar ging onderuit in een uiterste poging nog Nijkamp te verschalken. Vogels daardoor alsnog de vierde plaats. De scratch nationalen was voor Danny Koerts na een mooi gevecht met Dario van Saasse.

Enduro Vintage rijders op weg naar Elba
Fotoalbum. Tussen de buien door even (met dank) bij de Pelmolen in Rijssen geweest om een groep vintage rijders op de foto te zetten. De heren gaan naar de FIM Enduro Vintage Trophy op Elba, die van 20 t/m 23 oktober wordt gehouden.
