You really had to be in Santiago de Compostela to witness the incredible turn around in the weather. After torrential rains and strong winds at the start of the week in the ‘holy city’, the 1st day of competition at the Maxxis FIM Enduro World Championship played out under pristine blue skies. The tests were filled with a Spanish fans ready to enjoy watching the best riders in the world. Despite the sunshine, conditions on the track remained tricky; water sections and mud were both on the menu for Day 1.

WESS Heads To Portugal For 2019 Championship Opener
Wels, Austria – May 9, 2019 — Set to start the 2019 World Enduro Super Series in spectacular style, Portugal’s Toyota Porto Extreme XL Lagares will see the battle to become this year’s ULTIMATE ENDURO CHAMPION begin.
Covering eight rounds of exciting mixed discipline Enduro racing across seven months, WESS will bring together the sport’s best riders as they fight it out in Classic Enduro, Hard Enduro and Cross-Country racing. Like in 2018, the Toyota Porto Extreme XL Lagares will kick things off with Superenduro, Urban and Hard Enduro action across three days in northern Portugal.

Africa Eco Race 2020: 6000 km tussen Monaco en Dakar
Kom mee, naar de mooiste gebieden van West-Afrika, naar het zand, de duinen en de eindeloze schoonheid van Afrika. 12 etappes in 3 landen
Op 5 januari vertrek je vanuit Monaco, voor 12 etappes door Marokko, Mauritanië en Senegal. Op 19 januari 2020 kom je aan bij het Lac Rose, de traditionele finishplaats aan het prachtige zoutmeer in de duinen bij Dakar. De tocht door de woestijn, vanuit Europa naar Dakar maakt de Africa Eco Race uniek.

Mathias Van Hoof behaalt twee keer podium op het wk enduro te Portugal!
Voor de tweede wedstrijd van het wk enduro werd er afgereisd naar Valpacos te Portugal. Mathias ging net zoals op WK in Duitsland van start in de open 4stroke klasse. Echter werd hij begin van de week ziek met een keelontsteking als gevolg.
Op vrijdag werd de supertest verreden. De beta piloot nam hierin geen risico’s en kwam knap als 2e aan op de korte maar technische show special. Voor zaterdag waren er twee grote rondes gepland en derde kortere ronde.

EnduroGP: Spain GP Preview
Back on the Trail to Santiago de Compostela!
Just a week after a Portuguese Grand Prix which was masterfully organised by the Usprigozus Vilarandelo, the EnduroGP circus heads to Santiago de Compostela in Galicia in the north-west of Spain for the second round of the Iberian tour!
For the second consecutive year, the Spanish Grand Prix will be organised by the Moto Club Movete Na Moto Lalin with, of course, support from the national federation, the RFME.

Once again, José Angel ARCA CANDA and all the volunteers from the Moto Club MNM have gone all out to create a 65km lap around the “holy” city of Santiago de Compostela
